Its 5 walls, supported by 5 wooden poles, make the teepee structure sturdy, and it can be quickly set up indoors or outdoors with its accessories. The teepee folds up and is easy to transport or store, and its fabric is machine washable.

In its complete set (optional), its cushions and mat will make their little quiet corner more comfortable, and beautifully decorated with its hanging decoration or garland.

What is the educational value of this product?

With its teepee, which will contribute to creating their “yes space,” your child will be able to come and go freely, as recommended by Emmi Pikler.

They will use their teepee as a setting for independent activities, which are central to active educational approaches, through materials specially designed for their cognitive development (particularly Montessori materials), crafts and projects (found notably in the Steiner-Waldorf, Reggio, Freinet, and Decroly educational approaches), imitation and role-play games, or living books, so dear to Charlotte Mason, which will nourish their imagination.

It will be a place where the child can spend time alone or with others, contribute to their prepared environment, a cornerstone of the Montessori approach, and accompany them as they move through the sensitive periods of language (approximately 2 months - 6 years), movement coordination (approximately 18 months - 4 years), order (approximately 0 - 6 years), refinement of the senses (approximately 18 months - 5 years), social behavior (approximately 2.5 years - 6 years), and small objects (during the second year).

What is sensorimotor development?

Sensorimotor development is the process through which children develop their senses and learn to perform, master, and coordinate their movements.

The senses include the best-known ones - sight, hearing, smell, taste, and touch - as well as balance (through the vestibular system) and proprioception (the position of the body in space, provided by the somatosensory system). 

These different senses work together and in conjunction with the motor system.

In terms of motor development, two main categories of motor skills can be distinguished:

• gross motor skills, which refer to movements of the entire body or its large limbs and muscles (legs, arms, torso, and head),
• fine motor skills, which refer to movements of smaller muscles and limbs (fingers, hands, wrists, feet, ankles, toes, lips, and tongue).

What is cognitive development?

Cognitive development is the process through which children acquire, organize, and learn to use knowledge. Cognitive skills are numerous and varied, and are orchestrated by executive functions. They include, among other things, language, goal-directed behavior, planning, cognitive flexibility, short-term memory (or working memory), long-term memory, the ability not to be distracted, the ability to control emotional reactions, and so on.

What is socio-emotional development?

Socio-emotional development is the process through which children acquire the ability to understand, express, and manage their thoughts, emotions, and behavior. 
Social and emotional skills are also directly linked to how they perceive themselves and develop relationships with others.

What age range is it suitable for?

The teepee can be used as soon as children begin moving around independently and can serve them for years during their focused activities and play.

Delivery

• The shipping costs are as follows :

• This product is shipped from Poland by our artisan partner Moi Mili.
• This item is made to order and has a production time of 2 to 3 weeks. Delivery then takes 5 business days.
• Transport is handled by GLS, except in exceptional cases. 
• Once your parcel has been shipped, a tracking number will be provided to you by email.

Return 

You received your item but it is not suitable for you? Don't worry, you have 14 days from the date you receive your parcel to return the product concerned to us. 

As a small family business, we are unfortunately not yet able to offer postage costs, return costs are the customer's responsibility and returns must be sent to the country from which this product was shipped, Poland.

To be eligible for a return, please ensure that the following conditions are met :

• The product must arrive in its original and complete condition (packaging, accessories, instructions).
• The request does not apply to custom-made products for which the customer provided personalization information (for example, a cutting or manufacturing dimension).

Please understand that we cannot accept assembled, used, or worn items, as they cannot be resold. 

Return process 

Send your return request, including your order number and the product you wish to return, to our Customer Service by email at the following address: bonjour@monloove.com 

⚠ Please note that a return received without prior contact may result in the right of withdrawal being denied. 

Refund 

The refund will be issued within 14 days of receiving the products, for the full amount of the returned products, using the same payment method as the one used for the order.
