Our reason for being

Becoming parents made us aware of our new role and our new responsibilities, raising several essential questions:

• A fulfilled individual

Like most of us, when our daughter was born, we wanted to offer her a happy childhood, in a healthy environment, and offer her a context that would allow her to become an independent woman and who contributes to the world by being as fulfilled as possible.

• A key period

Like most of us, we've searched for the answers to all of the questions that make parenting a challenge.

Among this research, neuroscience, psychology and active pedagogies have led us to understand to what extent young children develop rapidly, to what extent they need autonomy to exploit their full potential, and to what extent their experiences during the first years of his life will have a profound impact on his adult life.

• The mental load

Like most of us, the major difficulty we encountered was that of time and resources in a context where we work, where we take care of one (or more) children, where we have to take care of home, where we try to have some semblance of a social life and where fatigue accumulates.

Taking time to identify at the right time all the tools, activities, methods, materials that contribute to the development of our children adds weight to the mental load.

• Find information

We had the privilege of being able to take this time, which allowed us to unearth the information that seemed most relevant to us among the mass of content, platforms, opinions, scientific research, training, books, teaching methods. , in different languages, and to identify the products that were of the most interest in promoting children's autonomy, which we now want to share with other parents.

• The educated choice

Our goal is to offer as much information and choice as possible to allow each family to make decisions that correspond to the specificity of their context, adapted to their environment, their daily life, their family culture, but also and especially to the uniqueness of their children, to follow their pace, their interests and give them the opportunity to become the best possible version of themselves.

• Key criteria

Each product we have selected meets minimum criteria. It must constitute a contribution to the child's development from the point of view of neuroscience and/or active pedagogies (Montessori, Reggio, Freinet, Steiner-Waldorf, Pikler, Fröbel, Decroly, Mason, etc.), comply with a minimum to European standards to guarantee the safety and well-being of our children.

We work with European partners, often family projects, who charge a fair price for everyone, whose work we want to promote, their responsible, sustainable, local, artisanal and transparent approach. To do this, we have created labels that will help each family make decisions based on complete information.

• The best version of ourselves

Like our children, we learn every day and strive to share as much information, research, discoveries and thoughts from childhood and parenting specialists as possible, to try to better understand them and adjust our approach.

Because offering them the best also means presenting them with the best version of ourselves.

We hope, through this project, and on our scale, to participate in offering a slightly better world to our children, and slightly better children to our world.
