It is suitable for all types of spaces and easy to store thanks to its 4 sections. These elements also make it ideal for letting children use it as they wish and give free rein to their imagination: it can become one or two seats, a backrest, or a sofa - it is a support they can adapt to their activities according to their wishes.

Because we are never safe from a spilled glass, a snack that leaves stains or a diaper accident, its removable cover is easy to clean in the washing machine.

Both indoors and outdoors, the play mat can also serve as a base for other toys, structures and furniture, and cushion any uncontrolled descent or potential fall.

• This item is vacuum-packed. The foam will regain its original shape within 72 hours of unpacking.

What are the educational benefits of this product?

As part of free play, recommended by all active educational approaches, the motor-skills mat is an essential aid for providing a sense of security, particularly for younger children.

It can support children as they learn about their bodies and master their movements. In the Pikler-Lóczy approach, particularly between 0 and 3 years of age, children are allowed to act without adults intervening in their postures; they initiate their own movements. This is the principle of free movement.

This mat can also be used to define areas within a prepared environment, as in the Montessori method. It is also an ideal support during the sensitive period for the coordination of movements identified by Maria Montessori, which children experience from approximately 18 months to 4 years of age.

What is sensorimotor development?

Sensorimotor development is the process through which children develop their senses and learn to perform, master, and coordinate their movements.

The senses include the best-known ones, namely sight, hearing, smell, taste, and touch, as well as balance (through the vestibular system) and proprioception (awareness of the body's position in space, provided by the somatosensory system). 

These different senses work together and in conjunction with the motor system.

In terms of motor development, two main categories of motor skills can be distinguished:

• gross motor skills, which refer to movements involving the whole body or larger body parts and muscles (legs, arms, torso, and head),
• fine motor skills, which refer to movements involving smaller muscles and body parts (fingers, hands, wrists, feet, ankles, toes, lips, and tongue).

What age ranges is it suitable for?

The play mat can be used from birth to support your child as they develop their motor skills and independence. The motor-skills mat can be used throughout their childhood.

• Delivery takes 7 to 10 business days.
• Shipping is handled by DPD or DHL, except in exceptional circumstances. 
• Once your parcel has been shipped, a tracking number will be sent to you by email.

Returns 

Have you received your item but it is not suitable for you? Don't worry, you have 14 days from the date of receipt of your parcel to return the product concerned. 

As a small family business, we are unfortunately not yet able to cover postage costs, return shipping costs are the customer's responsibility and returns must be sent to the country from which this product was shipped, Poland

To be eligible for a return, please ensure that the following conditions are met :

• The product must arrive in its original and complete condition (packaging, accessories, instructions).
• The request must not concern custom-made products for which the customer provided personalization details (for example, a cutting or manufacturing dimension).

Please understand that we cannot accept assembled, used, or worn items, as they cannot be put back on sale.

⚠ Please note that a return received without prior contact may result in the right of withdrawal being invalidated. 

Refund 

The refund will be issued within 14 days of receipt of the products, for the full amount of the returned products, using the same payment method as the one used when placing the order.
