This wooden cabin will be a place for our children to play, to invent stories, alone or with others, a retreat, a hiding place, a refuge where they can focus on their concentration activities, and where to spend time outside in all seasons, sheltered from bad weather.

To avoid becoming bulky, it can be assembled and disassembled in 3 minutes. And as it is made of raw wood, it can be painted and decorated according to our tastes and desires.

What is the educational benefit of this product?

The cabin contributes to an environment adapted to free play, one of the foundations common to all active pedagogies, and motor skills, a central element of Pikler-Lóczy pedagogy.
Our child will use his cabin as a support for his independent activities, central to active pedagogies, through craft work and projects (found in particular in the pedagogiesSteiner-Waldorf, Reggio, Freinet or Decroly), imitation or role-playing games, material designed specifically for cognitive development (in particular Montessori material), or through books alive, dear to Charlotte Mason, who will nourish her imagination.

What is sensorimotor development?

Sensorimotor development is the process by which children develop their senses and learn to perform, control and coordinate their movements.

The senses include the best known ones: sight, hearing, smell, taste, touch, but also balance (thanks to the vestibular system) and proprioception (position of the body in space, given by the somatosensory system).

These different senses work in concert with each other and with the motor system.

In terms of motor development, we can distinguish two main categories of motor skills:

• gross motor skills, which refers to movements of the whole body or the large limbs and muscles of the body (legs, arms, trunk, head),
• fine motor skills, which refers to the movements of smaller muscles and limbs (fingers, hands, wrists, feet, ankles, toes, lips, tongue).

What is cognitive development?

Cognitive development is the process by which children acquire, organize and learn to use knowledge. Cognitive skills are numerous, varied, and are orchestrated by executive functions. They include, among others, language, goal-directed behaviors, planning, cognitive flexibility, short-term memory (or working memory), long-term memory, the ability not to be distracted, to control emotional reactions, etc.

What is socio-emotional development?

Social-emotional development is the process by which children acquire the ability to understand, express and manage their thoughts, emotions and behavior.
Social and emotional skills are also directly linked to how they perceive themselves and develop relationships with others.

What age groups is it suitable for?

The cabin can be used from 2 years old to approximately 6 years old.

• This product is shipped from the Netherlands by our manufacturing partner Alexander.
• Delivery takes place in 7 to 15 working days.
• Transport is managed on a case-by-case basis by FedEx.
• Once your package has been shipped, a tracking number will be communicated to you by email.
• Pallet delivery is by appointment.

Have you received your item but it does not suit you? Don't worry, you have 14 days from the date of receipt of your package to return the product concerned to us.

Being a small family business, we are unfortunately not yet able to offer you postage costs, return costs are the responsibility of the customer and returns are to be sent to the country from which this product is shipped, in the Netherlands.

To be eligible for a return, please ensure that the following conditions are met:

• The product must arrive in original and complete condition (packaging, accessories, instructions).
• The request does not concern tailor-made products for which the customer has provided personalization data (example: a cutting or manufacturing dimension).

Please understand that we cannot accept fitted, used or worn items as they will not be able to be relisted.

Return Process

Send your return request with your order number as well as the product you wish to return to our Customer Service by email to the following address: bonjour@monloove.com 

⚠ Please note that a return received without prior contact may frustrate the right of withdrawal.

The refund will be made within 14 days after receipt of the products for the full amount of the returned products, via the same payment method as that used when ordering.
