What is the educational benefit of this product?

As part of free play, recommended by all active pedagogies, the motor skills mat is an essential support to provide a dimension of safety, particularly for younger children.

It can support children who learn to know their body and control their movements. What is sensorimotor development?

Sensorimotor development is the process by which children develop their senses and learn to perform, control and coordinate their movements.

The senses include the best known ones: sight, hearing, smell, taste, touch, but also balance (thanks to the vestibular system) and proprioception (position of the body in space, given by the somatosensory system).

These different senses work in concert with each other and with the motor system.

In terms of motor development, we can distinguish two main categories of motor skills:

• gross motor skills, which refers to movements of the whole body or the large limbs and muscles of the body (legs, arms, trunk, head),
• fine motor skills, which refers to the movements of smaller muscles and limbs (fingers, hands, wrists, feet, ankles, toes, lips, tongue).

Have you received your item but it does not suit you? Don't worry, you have 14 days from the date of receipt of your package to return the product concerned to us.

Being a small family business, we are unfortunately not yet able to offer you postage costs, thereturn costs are the responsibility of the customer's responsibility and returns are to be sent to the country of shipment of this product, Poland.

To be eligible for a return, please ensure that the following conditions are met:

• The product must arrive in original and complete condition (packaging, accessories, instructions).
• The request does not concern tailor-made products for which the customer has provided personalization data (example: a cutting or manufacturing dimension).
