What are the educational benefits of this product?

A child’s bed is one of the first places where they learn to move their body. The different stages of this learning process, as described in Pikler-Lóczy education, begin with lying on their back, then turning their head, moving their hands, turning onto their side, rolling onto their stomach, returning to their back, spending time on their stomach, stretching, rolling, crawling on their stomach and then on all fours, standing up, sitting, standing upright, and finally walking independently.

Their bed will accompany each of these stages of development. There, they will establish their routines and habits for getting up and going to bed, concepts that are central to the approaches of Rudolf Steiner and Charlotte Mason.

What role does sleep play in development and brain plasticity?

During the day, everything a child actively experiences, and sometimes even passively experiences, affects their learning and therefore their plasticity. When awake, their experiences trigger the release of neurotransmitters that “mark” the neurons and synapses involved in these different experiences, thereby strengthening neural circuits. However, the remodeling of the neural connections themselves takes place during sleep.

Quality rest involves several things for our child: 

- fully replenished energy levels, which optimize their concentration

- optimal concentration during their active periods, which supports their cognitive development

- facilitating their brain plasticity.
Good sleep is therefore more restorative and gives our children all the energy they need to learn, thrive, and develop to the best of their abilities.

What age groups is it suitable for?

Each mattress size is recommended as long as its length is at least 25 cm greater than your child’s height. If the difference is less than 25 cm, it is recommended to switch to a larger mattress.

• This product is shipped from Poland by our manufacturing partner Herod.
• Delivery takes 7 to 10 business days.
• Shipping is handled by DHL/La Poste, except in exceptional cases. 
• Once your parcel has been shipped, a tracking number will be sent to you by email.

Returns 

Have you received your item but it is not suitable for you? Don’t worry, you have 14 days from the date you receive your parcel to return the product concerned. 

As a small family business, we are unfortunately not yet able to cover postage costs, return shipping costs are the customer’s responsibility and returns must be sent to the country from which this product was shipped, Poland.

To be eligible for a return, please ensure that the following conditions are met :

• The product must arrive in its original, complete condition (packaging, accessories, instructions).
• The request must not concern custom-made products for which the customer provided personalization details (for example, a cutting or manufacturing dimension).

Please understand that we cannot accept assembled, used, or worn items, as they cannot be put back on sale.

⚠ Please note that a return received without prior contact may result in the loss of your right of withdrawal. 

Refund 

The refund will be issued within 14 days of receiving the products, for the full amount of the returned products, using the same payment method as the one used for the order.
