Soulet, a long-established French company, was founded in Vendée by Charles Soulet, a journeyman craftsman, in the 19th century.

Over time, as its business developed, the Soulet rope-making company diversified into outdoor play equipment for children, which is now its core business.

What is the educational value of this product?

The playhouse contributes to an environment suited to free play, one of the foundations shared by all active educational approaches, and to motor development, a central element of the Pikler-Lóczy approach. 
Our child will use the playhouse as a support for independent activities, which are central to active educational approaches, through crafts and projects (found in particular in the Steiner-Waldorf, Reggio, Freinet, and Decroly approaches), imitation and role-playing games, materials specifically designed for cognitive development (especially Montessori materials), or living books, cherished by Charlotte Mason, which will nourish their imagination.

What is sensory-motor development?

Sensory-motor development is the process through which children develop their senses and learn to perform, master, and coordinate their movements.

The senses include the best-known ones: sight, hearing, smell, taste, and touch, as well as balance (thanks to the vestibular system) and proprioception (the position of the body in space, provided by the somatosensory system). 

These different senses work together and in conjunction with the motor system.

In terms of motor development, two broad categories of motor skills can be distinguished:

• gross motor skills, which refer to movements of the entire body or its larger limbs and muscles (legs, arms, torso, head),
• fine motor skills, which refer to movements of smaller muscles and body parts (fingers, hands, wrists, feet, ankles, toes, lips, tongue).

What is cognitive development?

Cognitive development is the process through which children acquire, organize, and learn to use knowledge. Cognitive skills are numerous and varied, and are orchestrated by executive functions. They include, among other things, language, goal-directed behavior, planning, cognitive flexibility, short-term memory (or working memory), long-term memory, the ability to avoid distraction, and the ability to control emotional reactions.

What is socio-emotional development?

Socio-emotional development is the process through which children acquire the ability to understand, express, and manage their thoughts, emotions, and behavior. 
Social and emotional skills are also directly related to how they perceive themselves and develop relationships with others.

What age range is it suitable for?

The swing can be used from 3 years old up to approximately 12 years old.

• Delivery costs are : Free
• This product is shipped from France by our manufacturing partner Soulet.
• This item is made to order and has a manufacturing lead time of 2 to 3 weeks. Delivery then takes 5 business days.
• Pallet delivery is by appointment.
• Transportation is handled, depending on the case, by Kuehne + Nagel, DPD, Agedis, or Trade Chariot.
• Once your parcel has been shipped, a tracking number will be sent to you by email.

Return

Have you received your item but it is not suitable for you? Don't worry, you have 14 days from the date you receive your parcel to return the product concerned to us. 

As a small family business, we are unfortunately not yet able to cover postage costs. Return costs are the customer's responsibility, and returns must be sent to the country from which this product was shipped, France.

To be eligible for a return, please ensure that the following conditions are met :

• The product must arrive in its original and complete condition (packaging, accessories, instructions).
• The request does not apply to custom-made products for which the customer has provided personalization information (for example, a cutting or manufacturing dimension).

Please understand that we cannot accept assembled, used, or worn items, as they cannot be resold. 

Return process

Send your return request, including your order number and the product you wish to return, to our Customer Service by email at the following address: bonjour@monloove.com 

⚠ Please note that a return received without prior contact may result in the loss of your right of withdrawal. 

Refund

The refund will be issued within 14 days after receipt of the products for the full amount of the returned products, using the same payment method as the one used when placing the order.
