For our children, the slide is a first sensational attraction, in the same way as a balance board or a swing can be. It uses their proprioception, their balance, and all of their muscles. To go down, obviously, but also to go up, first by the stairs, then by climbing the slope, and there are just as many emotions that their slide gives them by challenging their body in a fun way.

What is the educational benefit of this product?
By being freely available to children, the slide contributes to the development of free play, one of the foundations common to all active pedagogies, and of motor skills, a central element of Pikler-Lóczy pedagogy. It allows the child to discover new sensations, develop their balance and learn to control their body through the repetition of movements.
Children can go up and down its steps and ramp, slide on their backs, stomachs, feet in front or head first, use their arms, legs, but also their hands and feet, and activate their entire body to coordinate their movements (sensitive period of approximately 18 months to 4 years for Maria Montessori) and strengthen themselves muscularly.
What is the interest from a neuroscience point of view?

What is sensorimotor development?
Sensorimotor development is the process by which children develop their senses and learn to perform, control and coordinate their movements.
The senses include the best known ones: sight, hearing, smell, taste, touch, but also balance (thanks to the vestibular system) and proprioception (position of the body in space, given by the somatosensory system).
These different senses work in concert with each other and with the motor system.
In terms of motor development, we can distinguish two main categories of motor skills:
- gross motor skills, which refers to movements of the whole body or the large limbs and muscles of the body (legs, arms, trunk, head),
- fine motor skills, which refers to the movements of smaller muscles and limbs (fingers, hands, wrists, feet, ankles, toes, lips, tongue).
What age groups is it suitable for?
The slide can be used by children when they begin to stand, with the supervision and assistance of their parents at first, then independently once they can maintain their balance well on their own.
They will develop their sense of balance, the coordination of their movements, learn to adapt their posture and strengthen their muscles. It can be used until adulthood and can be used by all members of the family.

Have you received your item but it does not suit you? Don't worry, you have 14 days from the date of receipt of your package to return the product concerned to us.
Being a small family business, we are unfortunately not yet able to offer you postage costs, thereturn costs are the responsibility of the customer's responsibility and returns are to be sent to the country of shipment of this product, Poland.
To be eligible for a return, please ensure that the following conditions are met:
- The product must arrive in original and complete condition (packaging, accessories, instructions).
- The request does not concern tailor-made products for which the customer has provided personalization data (example: a cutting or manufacturing dimension).
Please understand that we cannot accept fitted, used or worn items as they will not be able to be relisted.
